Investing.com – Bumble (NASDAQ:BMBL), the company behind the dating app with the same name, is giving its 700 employees a week off to recover from burnout suffered during the pandemic, CNBC reported.

The stock was up more than 2% in Tuesday’s session before giving up some of the gains.

The week off is in addition to the company’s normal vacation allowance.

CNBC referred to a tweet by Bumble’s Head of Editorial Content Clare O’Connor that said the CEO, Whitney Wolfe, had “correctly intuited our collective burnout.” That tweet is no longer available.

“In the U.S. especially, where vacation days are notoriously scarce, it feels like a big deal,” O’Connor added in the widely reported tweet on Monday.
